And away we go…..

Lately the pull to my little shop has been ever stronger. Creativity is flowing along with the wonders of spring in all it’s glory, and let’s be honest here, pollen abounds as well. Staring at my car, I thought, wow, that pollen is such a gorgeous green, as my eyes starting itching. It lasts but a short time and it’s what makes plants and flowers grow and bloom, so it’s all good. May begins art show season for me as well. Last weekend I kicked it off in Richmond at Arts in the Park. I have people there that helped me with the whole shebang….set up, show days, keeping me company, and tear down. What a blessing!!! Love my family for many reasons, this is just one! It was a spectacular weekend, gorgeous weather, really awesome vendors and enthusiastic customers. What a great way to get things rolling. Here are a few pictures.

About turtlemoondesigns

Sky watcher, dreamer, seeker, stone hoarder.... Finding a love and growing passion for metalsmithing happened as a later in life discovery. I taught preschool for 23 years, but started doing metal work as a hobby about 13 years ago. All I can say is that I get lost and found in it. Three years ago I "retired" from teaching, I'm way too young for that! Now I follow my muse, and feel more filled up in my heart and soul than I could have ever imagined, but I do miss those sweet little faces too!! What a truly amazing thing this has become, my life! Please feel free to contact me with questions or for custom work.
