The Best Christmas Ever….

Standard

I always reflect on fond childhood memories this time of the year. They all sort of blend together into one big neighborhood Christmas Eve party with the adults sipping Brandy Alexanders, or Wild Turkey, just depending on which neighbor…. All the kids were super hyper with the Santas’ visit much anticipated the next morning. I can’t really remember the gifts because looking back,  that wasn’t the highlight at all. Maybe then, but not now. With family kind of spread out and parents.. not here anymore, the memories are bittersweet but still just so awesome. As we go into a new year with  dreams, wishes, love and so much hope, may we always remember to be grateful for all that we have now, all we had as children and all the future holds for us and our loved ones. Make these moments, days and years count, we all know why. Didn’t mean to ramble philosphical but I love Christmas! Love and Blessings to all.

I’ve had a little extra time to work on goodies and have been feeling inspired!! Just a few pictures of new stuff. Also a special thank you to all of my friends/customers that make it possible for me to play and dabble.

About turtlemoondesigns

Sky watcher, dreamer, seeker, stone hoarder.... Finding a love and growing passion for metalsmithing happened as a later in life discovery. I taught preschool for 23 years, but started doing metal work as a hobby about 13 years ago. All I can say is that I get lost and found in it. Three years ago I "retired" from teaching, I'm way too young for that! Now I follow my muse, and feel more filled up in my heart and soul than I could have ever imagined, but I do miss those sweet little faces too!! What a truly amazing thing this has become, my life! Please feel free to contact me with questions or for custom work.
